There will be a 5k race for Summit Christian School on May 3rd, 2025 from 8:30 AM to around 11:00 AM.  As you can see from the map below, most of the race will be through Regent Park. They're expecting around 100 runners.  There's nothing for us as residents that we need to do, other than be aware of the runners, and expect potential traffic delays if you're trying to drive during that time.  You can visit https://www.facebook.com/SmtChristianSchool/ for more information.

We received the following letter from Tony Demasi, our Cuyahoga Falls city engineer.  The following is the context of the letter:

 

I was wondering if you noticed all of the utility markings recently in the development.  In case you get any questions let me explain what is happening.

First of all, thanks to all of you who showed up this year.  This is by far the biggest turn out in the 3 years that I've been here!  I think we had some good discussions, and had a great opportunity to meet some of our neighbors.  I've uploaded the meeting minutes here for anyone who wasn't able to attend, or if you would just like to review the events.  I'd also like to thank John Dever for his many years of service to the HOA!

As some of you may or may not know, our residents on Hillbrook Drive recently received a notice that there is a group that is looking to build an apartment complex in the land behind their street.  There was supposed to be a city council meeting regarding this taking place tonight, July 17th, which is why we moved the annual HOA meeting to next month.  However, the meeting has been postponed.  One of our residents reported that the developer pulled the plan, as they were not ready for the meeting, and the next one will possibly be on September 5th.  

This is something that will affect not only our Hillbrook residents, but everyone in the development, so I'll do my best to keep on top of the issue, and keep the site updated with any new information.  Thank you to everyone who is posting on our Facebook Page with updates as well.
